What Is PebbleCreek Pickleball Club?
PebbleCreek Pickleball Club(see also: Where Is Club Pickleball USA? And How To Become A Member) is a club designed to provide a platform for pickleball enthusiasts. It offers a place to have fun with a whole host of members that love the sport as much as you do.
One of its key goals is to improve the quality of its members’ pickleball game including their skills, knowledge and fitness – but it does so in a fun and friendly way.
The club is based in a gated community in PebbleCreek, Goodyear, Arizona and it is open to all of the residents of PebbleCreek. The club wants all of its members to enjoy the sport but also to enjoy the community, and feel a part of a larger family.
The social aspect and sportsmanship of pickleball are at the very heart of this community and it boasts over 1,300 members to this day and growing!
Whether you are an experienced pickleball player or a complete newbie, this club can help you with the following:
Develop your skills with their strategy classes
Take part in lots of tournaments open to everybody of all skill levels

The club has 20 dedicated pickleball courts and they say that they are building 16 more. These courts are open between 6am and 10pm daily.

Club Membership
If you are hoping to become a member of this club, there are a few requirements that you must meet in order to do so. The first and most important is that you must be a resident within PebbleCreek or a renter in the community.
Anyone who lives outside of this community is unfortunately not permitted to become a club member and they cannot take part in any of the activities or reap any of the benefits associated with the club.
How To Join
If you are a resident of the PebbleCreek community however, you may decide you wish to join this club! So, how exactly would you do this? Well, there are two ways to join and both require a signed waiver.
Cash or checks require you to complete the waiver which you can find here and then return it to the ice machine room in the Ramada.
For credit or debit cards, you can sign the waiver and complete your account creation at the same time. Simply click here.
Waivers must include a unique email address, which means you cannot use a shared email address. Renewal of your membership will take place annually on the anniversary of your first payment (unless you are a life member of the PCPB Club).
After completing your membership, you will receive a welcome email which gives you all the information you need about how to use the club, including how to reserve and book courts etc.
You will also be given information about your name tag and when you can come to collect it – this is required for your use of the club.
There are two types of membership – general and lifetime. General membership has a fee for renewal every year which may be subject to change, but lifetime membership requires a one off fee which is larger, but you will not need to pay anymore.
Pickleball Classes
One of the biggest benefits of having a membership at this pickleball club is that you have an opportunity to learn and develop your skills. There are multiple classes on offer, so let’s have a look at a few of them.
Intro To Pickleball
Anybody who is brand new to pickleball should take this opportunity to get involved with the intro to pickleball class.
All the basics of the sport are taught in a fun and inclusive way and you will be able to understand a little bit more about the club and how it works.
Once you have completed this class, you can choose to progress through the new player development program as and when you like.
On top of this, your introductory lesson will provide you with a skill group (Novice A, Novice B or Teal) which is ideal for the future.
Player Development
After you have understood the basics about the sport, got to grips with how the club works and operates and got your skill group classification, you may decide to improve and develop your skills and knowledge of the sport.
This is where player development comes into play. The club is currently working on developing a number of programs for its members to work through and hone their skills, allowing for controlled progression.
The USAPA sets out some rating guidelines but the PCPB uses their own. You can find how they classify skill ratings here.
The PCPB rating system is useful for when you wish to take part in club activities, and you will need one if you are hoping to get involved with round robins, drills and tournaments.
Players may request a review of their rating if they feel they are better than their grade.
How Is The Club Run?
The club is structured like many other clubs through a committee system, which has a chairman/president at the top of the tree. You can find the full structure here but all you really need to know is that these people run specific areas of the club.
The finances are primarily from membership fees, but there are also outside influences including sponsorships, events, merchandise and fundraisers.
Is Club Membership Worth It?
